The Suffolk coast has one of the most beautiful landscapes with over 40 miles of heritage coastline. With so much to see and do you can easily leave the car behind and explore on foot or bicycle. With beautiful beaches, wildlife and historical towns in abundance there is no shortage of things to fill your days.
Suffolk has some amazing historical churches and castles, Anglo Saxon burial sites, such as the one at Sutton Hoo, windmills and the fairytale mere at Thorpeness. The historical Snape Maltings with its’ amazing concert hall, is must to visit during your stay. The Maltings is home to some wonderful independent shops; art, furniture, interior designers and a wonderful teashop.
The seaside towns of Aldeburgh, Southwold with its’ award winning pier and Felixstowe are great for days out. Take a walk along the beach or browse around the little shops and friendly pubs where you’re guaranteed a warm welcome.
