Here’s what a few of our guests and visitors are saying about us:

Your hospitality was outstanding and the meal you presented us with was a tribute to the catering team. I would like to congratulate you, and all the members of the team for the wonderful way that you all looked after us and the opportunity to see all the tasteful changes that you have made to bring Seckford Hall in to a contemporary setting, whilst really paying homage to the important historic place that Seckford Hall plays in Suffolk.

I really think what you are doing at Seckford is truly remarkable, whilst keeping the hotel open, serving your customers. It is never easy being able to juggle such a complex renovation programme, but to do this and achieve all you are with the venue still operational adds to the success of the collective achievement of you and the team you have around you.

Love the new look at Seckford Hall. Stylish and beautiful redecorated reception area and refurbished bedrooms. Delicious food, attentive, friendly and professional staff which gave all the ingredients for a very enjoyable experience in such a glorious setting. Well done to all concerned. I can’t wait for my next visit!

For years paying a visit with the family was always a treat -one of those days you remember as being ‘special’ as a child. Weddings and big family birthday celebrations. Going back to the new Seckford Hall it was instantly clear to see that what you recall as being great was still very much there, the history and beauty – NEW – the investment and detail has opened the hotel to a whole new generation.

This grand Suffolk lady off the A12 is now more welcoming – more beautiful with 1530 history hand in hand with modern must haves.

The opening of the new Seckford Hall was a night to remember. As a winner of a Golden ticket I was privileged to watch the sun set and welcome in the new dawn of a vibrant new business concept that builds and respects tradition whilst innovating and energising new spaces. Outside the ambience and possibility awakened by the outdoor Morrocan themed yurts, to the champagne and cocktail area provide a wonderful frame to any event. The new bedrooms are fantastic and the bespoke dining areas cater for both informal and a wide range of boardroom and business networking events. Whether it be a formal wedding, banquet or dining experience, or a special and unique event, Seckford has shown that it is once again at the forefront of a Renaissance in East Anglian life”

Craig Macartney, Suffolk County Council

Research has shown that there is a lack of good quality hotel accommodation in Suffolk, and I am sure that Seckford, with its tastefully refurbished rooms and cosmopolitan atmosphere, will be able to take full advantage of this gap in the market. Well done Seckford Hall.

I have had business dealings with Seckford Hall Hotel for many years now and have been delighted to see the amount of investment the hotel has been receiving recently. The refurbishment is a great balance of the old and new and the East Wing is a very pleasant area to hold smaller meetings.

Both the restaurant and snack menu are imaginative and it is refreshing to be able to eat wherever you feel comfortable in the hotel. The new bedrooms again blend the old with the new and are extremely comfortable. Located in a peaceful setting just off the A12, the hotel is definitely worth discovering.

Since January 2014  we’ve been holding our monthly business networking events in the Riverside Suite at Seckford Hall and I’m met each month by friendly staff who’ve already prepared the room for my visitors.

With over forty people attending each month keeping up with the demand for refreshments isn’t easy and  the staff at Seckford Hall ensure requirements are met.  I also like the fact that my clients are served and don’t have to help themselves.

On occasions I’ve made special requests e.g. homemade cakes to be provided and this has always been done at short notice. We often open the lovely French windows and use the large patio area and seating for ‘open air’ networking! With free WiFi available my clients sometimes also stay on to hold their own meetings and are always made welcome.

Thank you Seckford Hall Team for your help in making our events such a success.
