Each dish is cooked to order using the highest quality ingredients in season. Our service staff will be happy to advise you on dishes that can be presented quickly. Please be understanding if some items on the menu are not available. If you have a particular food allergy (e.g. nuts) please let us know as some dishes may contain nut products.

Seckford Hall is located near Woodbridge, in Suffolk UK. Our restaurants are open throughout the year, both to residents and the public. To book your table, please call reception on 01394 385678. Please note it is not possible to book a bar meal.

with a hint of chilli, coriander and presented with cucumber jelly

with Aspall cider, spring onion and cream

Chargrilled Rare Breed Sirloin of Beef (Friday, Saturday ‘Fillet’ £4.00 supplement)
with fresh forest wild mushroom sauce, triple cooked chips and watercress & shallot salad

Sautéed Fillet of Cod
with thyme and gruyère gratin, young fennel and red wine fumet

Pan Fried Gressingham Duck Breast, served pink
with a spring roll of it’s leg, a sweet potato fondant and finished with honey and lime sauce

Poached Darne of Seatrout
with crushed Jersey royals, broad beans and smoked bacon velouté

Chartreuse of Aubergine
provençale of vegetables, confit cherry tomatoes, tempura of herbs

Rump of New Seasoned Lamb, served pink
with glazed sweetbreads, spicy aubergine gratin potatoes and Greek yoghurt

a lightly smoked hard farmhouse cheese made with unpasteurised cow’s milk

Hawkston
handmade white Suffolk cheese with a crumbly texture from Rodwell Farm, Claydon

Kidderton Ash
winner of bronze at the British Cheese awards. It has a creamy nutty flavour with a soft delicate texture made with pasteurised milk

Suffolk Blue
a rich soft blue veined cheese from a herd of Pedigree Guernsey’s on the Shrubland Park Estate

All the above are served with celery, grapes and a selection of wheat wafers
