Each dish is cooked to order using the highest quality ingredients in season. Our service staff will be happy to advise you on dishes that can be presented quickly. Please be understanding if some items on the menu are not available. If you have a particular food allergy (e.g. nuts) please let us know as some dishes may contain nut products.
About Our Restaurants
Seckford Hall is located near Woodbridge, in Suffolk UK. Our restaurants are open throughout the year, both to residents and the public. To book your table, please call reception on 01394 385678. Please note it is not possible to book a bar meal.

STARTERS
Sweetcorn, Leek and Potato Chowder
with cheese straws

Grilled Tiger Prawns
with a sweet chilli dip

Warm Pigeon Salad
with roasted beetroot and orange salad

Filo Tart of Goats Cheese
with wild mushroom and topped with a red onion marmalade

Pressing of Suffolk Ham
layered with foie gras and apple and sultana compote

Brandade of Smoked Haddock
with blini and lime crème fraiche

MAIN COURSES
Some dishes can be plainly presented, please enquire. Each main course includes fresh vegetables & potatoes, either served separately or included within the dish.

Seared Fillet of Seabass
with a ragout of sautéed potatoes, wilted greens and chorizo sausage

Chartreuse of Lemon Sole
centred with a langoustine and lobster mousse
finished with a shellfish sauce

Entrecote Steak “Béarnaise” 
with confit cherry tomatoes and dauphinoise potato, topped with Béarnaise sauce (our beef is rare breed Red Poll, from Dedham Vale)

Pan Fried Collops of Venison
with sweet potato puree and finished with a lime and juniper sauce

Rack of Lamb
with a foie gras and apricot boudin enrobed in Parma ham, white wine sauce

Twice Baked Cheddar Soufflé
with blue cheese sauce and char-roasted vegetables

Shipcord Cheddar
A hard cows milk cheese, extra matured, a crumbly texture,
made locally at Rodwell Farm near Suffolk

Crafton
Using a blend of cow’s and goat’s milk, this semi soft naturally moulded cheese is made by Carolyn Fairburn up in Cumbria

Bath Soft
Cow’s milk cheese, from the Bath area with a delicate creamy
and subtle aroma

Blackstick Blue
This blue vein cheese using milk from the Butter Panily’s herd.
Has an outstanding smooth velvety texture, yet leaves a slight tangy flavour in the mouth

All the above are served with celery, grapes and a selection of wheat wafers
