What is the Wifi password?

Our WiFi password is Seckford.

What time is the spa open?

The spa is open everyday:

Our Spa facilities are open from 8am until 8pm.

The Spa Garden is open from 10am until 6pm.

What time is breakfast?

Breakfast is served Monday to Friday from 7:30am until 10:00am. On the weekends, breakfast is available 8am to 10:00am.

How much is breakfast?

Breakfast is charged at £15 per person (full service).

Is breakfast available for non-residents?

Unfortunately breakfast is only available to our residents at this time. We do offer lunch, afternoon teas and dinner for non-residents.

When was the building built?

Seckford Hall was built in 1530.

What time is check in/out?

Check in from 3pm, and check out is by 11am. If you would like a late check out, this is available for £30. Early check in is available for £40, subject to availability. Contact our reception team to find out more.

Is your hotel dog friendly?

We are happy to welcome dogs into the building but not in the restaurant or bedrooms in the main house. If you are wishing to stay with your dog, you can stay in one of our garden rooms in the courtyard.

There is a £20 per dog, per stay.

Is there a pet fee?

If you would like to bring your pet with you on your stay, we charge £20 per pet per stay.

Is their car charging facilities?

At this moment in time unfortunately we don’t offer car charging facilities but this is something that we are looking into.

Do we have ground floor rooms with walk in showers?

Yes! A number of our accessibly ground floor rooms offer walk in showers. Rooms 26, 27, 30 and in the courtyard: 34, 36, 38 all feature a walk in shower.

Are there fridges in the rooms?

No, we don’t have fridges in our bedrooms. One may be provided upon request depending on availability.

Can you recommend a cab service?

We recommend M&R Cars Woodbridge who you can contact directly on 01394 386661.

Where is the smoking area?

Smoking is allowed anywhere outside.

Which rooms have balconies?

In the main hotel, rooms 2, 23, 24, 16 all have balconies, as does room 39A in the courtyard.


Do I need to book treatments in advance?

Yes, to avoid disappointment we always recommend that you book your treatments as soon as possible.

Can I book online?

Yes, please visit our spa pages to book online.

Do you have a Spa treatment menu?

Yes, our treatment menu can be found online.

Can I have treatments if I am pregnant?

Yes, you can have spa treatments after you have passed your first trimester. We have pregnancy treatments available specifically created for mums to be and new mums.

Can I have treatments if I have had Cancer within the last 5 years?

All circumstances are different, if you have any health concerns please call our spa team (01394 385678) to discuss your treatment options further.

Can children use the pool?

Children’s swim times can be found here and are outside of Spa Day opening hours.

Can children have spa treatments?

No, spa treatments cannot be carried out on children under 16 years.

Can I cancel my treatment or Spa Day?

Yes, treatments and spa days can be cancelled in line with our cancellation policy.

Can I still have treatments and enjoy a Spa Day if I have allergies?

Yes. We have many treatments available that can be adapted to meet your needs. Please inform us of all allergies and dietary requirements in advance of your visit.  A Pre Treatment Questionnaire is sent to all guests and it is essential that you complete and return to us so that we can prepare for your visit.

What do I wear for treatments?

When having a treatment, the therapists will let you know what to wear for each for treatment. Disposable underwear can be provided if needed.

What’s included in a spa day package?

Within a Spa Day package, you will receive the following;

  • Welcome Ritual
  • Towels, robes and flip flops for the day (flips flops to keep)
  • Spa Afternoon Tea – Afternoon Tea with a glass of Prosecco or fruit juice
  • Use of the Spa Facilities and Spa Garden
  • Treatment (depending on the package chosen)
  • Reserved loungers
Can anyone have a robe?

If you are booked on to a spa day package you get a robe included in this along with flip flops. If you’re not booked onto a spa day, you are able to hire a robe for a £20 deposit. You will get the full deposit back if you have a treatment booked. There is a non-refundable £5 charge if no treatment is booked. The deposit is is taken either as cash or by card, and cannot be charged to your room.

What times can spa days arrive and leave?

If you have booked onto one of spa days, you can arrive any time between 9am & 10am. We do ask that you arrive here at least 30 mins before your first treatment. This is so we can take a pre order for lunch and so you can have your arrival drink. The spa experience finishes at 5pm.

What do I need to bring on a spa day?

When you come on a spa day, you are provided with robes, flip flops and towels. You will need to bring your own swim wear. Our changing rooms have lockers, showers with shower gel and shampoo, hairdryers and towels.

Is there anything special we can do for birthdays/anniversaries?

If you celebrating a special event or occasion with us, let us know we will see what we can do!

Can I wear my robe throughout the hotel?

You can walk to main reception and to your room and back in your robe should you wish, however, robes are not allowed to be worn in the hotel lounge or restaurant. Please note all robes need to be returned to Spa Reception to avoid charges.

When on a Spa Break, where do I have dinner?

Dinner for all guests in served in our main restaurant. We recommend booking prior to your stay.

What are the opening times?

The spa is open from 10am – 6pm.

What facilities do we have in the spa?

The spa features a swimming pool, jacuzzi, steam room, sauna & concept shower.

Who has access to the facilities?

You are only able to use the spa facilities if you staying in the hotel or on a spa package.

What is the Cancellation Policy?

We have a 24 hour treatment cancellation policy. This means if you cancellation within 24 hours of the treatment time, the full payment will not be refunded.

In the event of cancellation, your hotel booking is non-refundable. Should you cancel 8 weeks prior to the arrival date, the advanced Spa Day and additional treatment payment (broken down above), are changeable and refundable. After this time, this amount will also be non-refundable.

 The Spa has a 24 hour cancellation policy for any treatments or services not paid for within your advanced payment. Therefore a no show or a cancellation within this timeframe would incur the full cost of the treatment or service booked. 

When do I have to pay for my spa day or treatment is there a deposit?

Full payment is to be taken at the time of booking.

Can the Spa Cafe cater for people with food allergies?

Yes, we are able to cater for allergies. If you have an allergy or intolerance, please let us know as soon as possible so we can ensure we are able to cater for your needs.


Is Seckford Hall licenced for a ceremony?

Yes, Seckford Hall is licensed for both indoor and outdoor ceremonies.

Can we book Seckford Hall as exclusive use?

Yes, you can take over the entire hotel, including all 41 bedrooms and 34 acres of stunning grounds exclusively.

Where are the rooms located to hold ceremonies and receptions at Seckford Hall?

We are licensed for ceremonies outside in our walled garden or in the Great Hall overlooking the beautiful lake.  You have your very own exclusive area and private entrance with a bar for just you and your guests.

How many bedrooms does Seckford Hall have?

Seckford Hall has 41 luxury bedrooms with a Suffolk breakfast to look forward to the following morning.

Does Seckford Hall have a pool and spa on-site?

Yes, all guests staying overnight at Seckford Hall can enjoy the pool and spa facilities, why not extend your celebrations and relax with a spa treatment?

Can you stay at Seckford Hall for more than one night?

Yes, there is just so much to do, giving you that wonderful experience. Enjoy an afternoon tea on the terrace, dinner in Seckford Hall’s 1530’s restaurant after indulging in the pool and spa or playing a round of golf at the local golf club.
