What facilities do we have in the spa?

​We have a vaulted ceiling swimming pool, steam room, sauna & concept shower.

We also have a year-round Spa Garden with outdoor seating, an ice bath, sauna, outdoor hot tubs and fire pits.

What is the temperature of the pool and Jacuzzi?

The pool is 29.9 degrees and the Jacuzzi is 39 degrees.

Who has access to the facilities?

You are only able to use the facilities if you staying in the hotel or on a spa package.

Do I need to book treatments in advance?

Yes, to avoid disappointment we always recommend that you book your treatments as soon as possible.

What is included in the Spa Afternoon Tea?

A selection of sandwiches, cakes and scones is included in our Spa Afternoon Tea. The contents may vary seasonally.

Do you have a Spa treatment menu?

Can I have treatments of I am pregnant?

Yes, after you have passed the first trimester. We have specific treatments created for mums to be and new mums.

What are the opening hours for children’s swimming?

Children are able to use the swimming pool on weekends, bank holidays & school holidays 8am-9am & 6pm – 7pm.

Can I have treatments if I have had Cancer within the last 5 years

Can children have spa treatments?

No, treatments cannot be carried out on children under 16years.

What’s included in a spa day package?

Within a Spa Day package, you will receive the following;

Welcome Ritual,
Towels, robes and flip flops for the day (flips flops to keep)
Spa Afternoon Tea – with a glass of Prosecco or fruit juice.
Use of the spa facilities
Treatment (depending on the package chosen)
Reserved loungers
Can I cancel my treatment or Spa Day?

Yes, in line with our cancellation policy. Please refer to our website for further information.

Can I still have treatments and enjoy a Spa Day if I have allergies?

Yes, we have many treatments available that can be adapted to meet your needs. Please inform us of any allergies and dietary requirements as soon as possible and in advance of your visit.  A Pre Treatment Questionnaire is sent to all guests on booking and it is essential that you complete and return to us so that we can prepare for your visit.

What do I wear for treatments?

Our Therapists will advise you on what to wear for each for treatment. Disposable underwear can be provided if needed.

Can anyone have a Robe?

If you are booked on to a Spa Day package, you get a robe included in this along with flip flops. Otherwise you are able to hire a robe with a £20 deposit. You will get the full deposit back if you have a treatment booked, or a £5 charge if no treatment booked. The deposit is either taken by cash or card and cannot be charged to the room.

What times can spa days arrive and leave?

Spa Day guests can arrive any time between 9am & 10am. We ask our spa guests to arrive at least 30 minutes before your first treatment. This is so we can take a pre order for lunch and provide you with your arrival drink. The Spa Day finishes at 6pm.

What do I need to bring on a spa day?

When you arrive at the spa for your spa day, you are provided with robes, flip flops and towels. You will need to bring your own swim wear. Our changing rooms have lockers, showers with shower gel and shampoo, hairdryers and towels.

Can the Spa Cafe cater for people with Food allergies?

Yes, if you have an allergy or food intolerance, please let us know as soon as possible so we can ensure we are able to cater for your needs.

Is there anything special we can do for birthdays/anniversaries?

If you celebrating a special event or occasion with us, please let us know we will see what we can do! Please give our Spa Team a call on 01394 385606.

Can I wear my robe throughout the hotel?

You are free to walk to main reception, to your room and back in your robe should you wish, however, robes are not allowed to be worn in the hotel lounge or restaurant. Please note all robes need to be returned to Spa Reception to avoid charges.
