Seckford Hall Hotel welcomes new owners.
2012 saw the beginning of an exciting new journey for the hotel, which was sold to a new family from London. At the helm of the hotel is General Manager, Denis Frucot, who is in charge of the management and day to day running of the hotel.
Denis, originally from France, has immense experience in the hotel and hospitality industry. Denis commented: “It’s great to come to Suffolk, a wonderful county and to this magnificent hotel steeped in history.” He added: There have been many changes made which all our customers will enjoy whilst visiting us. Very importantly, we have launched a new menu throughout the hotel, which our customers are able to eat wherever they choose – the bar, lounge, gardens or impressive Great Hall. We still have our AA 2-rosette quality restaurant and traditional a la carte dishes on the menu together with some contemporary dishes, offering our customers a wider menu choice.”
The hotel had been part of the Bunn family since 1935, more recently run by Michael Bunn and his wife Christine. They decided to sell the hotel to a new family in August 2012 who are committed to continuing the family run ethos and culture of the hotel. Denis commented: “As well as repositioning the hotel in the Suffolk marketplace, our vision is to continue its family ethos and build on its already impressive reputation. I am extremely excited by the challenges that lie ahead and look forward to meeting both existing and new clients to the hotel.”
